A specialty coffeehouse and cultural venue in the Streit House on Costache Negruzzi Street, three hundred metres from Union Square. Two businesses at one address: a single-origin coffee bar, and a programme of events across an amphitheatre, an atelier and a terrace.

Frateria

An artisanal patisserie and café in Iași. Most customers simply walk in. The site handles the two bookings that don't: a table in the shop and a private event, which need two different conversations.

What was built

  • The table form asks where you want to sit (inside or out) and for how long.
  • The event form asks neither, because the answer is the room. It asks candy bar or gelato bar.
  • Menu and events the team edits without a developer in the loop.
  • Both forms carry their own consent, and collect only a name, a phone and a date.

Fifteen seconds for the coffee chain's autumn drink, the PumpKing spice latte. It opens on one line, Toamna are un nou rege (autumn has a new king), counts in what the drink is made of, then tells you hot or cold, the size and the price.

There are no prices on this page because an eight-page site and a three-page one are different jobs, and a number printed here would become a ceiling before anyone had looked at yours. You get a fixed price on the first call, once we know the scope. Everything we build is yours: the code, the domain, the accounts and the photographs, in your name from day one.

Questions

Five weeks for a full build and two for a starter site, counted from the day your content arrives. If the content is a week late, the launch moves a week. We'll tell you that on the first call, so it's never a surprise in the contract.

A fixed price per scope, given on the first call once we know what you need. If we aren't a fit for your budget, we'll say so on that call and point you somewhere better.

A build is half on signature, half on handover. The monthly retainer runs three months minimum, then month to month. Whenever you leave, you keep everything: the code, the domain, the accounts and every photograph we took. It's all been in your name from the start.

One accountable team for the site and the traffic, so when conversion drops there's no three-week argument between your developer and your media agency. The trade-off is that we're deliberately narrow: if you need six markets and a portal, we're the wrong agency and we'll tell you early.

Sometimes. If your site is fine and the problem is the traffic, we'll say so and work on the traffic alone. We won't sell you a rebuild you don't need. If the site can't be saved on a phone, we'll tell you that too.

Fifteen minutes, no deck. We look at your site on a phone beforehand, bring two or three specific things we'd change, and tell you whether we're the right help. If we're not, you keep the observations anyway.

About

Seek Digital is an agency in Iași. The person who builds your site is the person you meet, and there is a team behind him.

Silviu Chișcăreanu handles the development, the design and the client conversations. He's the one who turns up to the meeting and answers your email, and he built Negru Zi and Frateria before Seek Digital existed.

Behind him, a team covers the work that doesn't need his hands on it: research, photography at your venue, monthly reporting and reviews. We take on a few projects at a time, and there's no account manager in between.
