The brief

Frateria is a pastry shop and café in Iași built on craft baking, with the artisanal method as the point rather than a decoration on it.

Most of the trade is walk-in, and a website cannot do much about footfall past the door. What it can do is handle the bookings, a table in the shop or a private event, and those are two different conversations. One is a quick decision made on a phone, often the same day. The other has a lead time, a budget, and questions about the room.

Putting both behind a single “Contact us” is how hospitality sites lose the second kind, which is the more valuable one.

What was built

Built by Silviu Chișcăreanu, before Seek Digital existed. It is shown here as his work, from before the agency had a team.

Two forms that ask different questions
The table form and the event form live on separate pages and do not share a field list. Booking a table asks where you want to sit (interior or exterior) and for how long. Booking an event does not ask either of those, because the answer is “the room”; it asks instead whether you want a candy bar or a gelato bar. One generic enquiry form would have asked everyone every question and told the visitor nothing about what was actually on offer.
Seating is a booking field of its own
Interior and exterior are separate capacities on different days, and a request typed into a free-text box is a request somebody has to re-read and re-key. Making it a field is what turns the form into something the counter can act on directly.
Both forms take a date and a time together
A single date-and-time field rather than two, plus party size and a phone number: the shortest set that still produces a booking somebody can confirm. Nothing optional was added to either form.
Menu and events as their own pages
A patisserie changes what it sells, so the menu and the events programme are editable in-house. That is the difference between a site that stays current and one that ages into a liability.
Built on Webflow, with the legal pages in place
Terms, privacy and cookie notices are published as real pages from launch, and the booking forms carry their own consent checkbox. Both forms collect a name and a phone number.

What the site does

  • Separates table bookings from event enquiries so each gets the right questions.
  • Gives the social channels somewhere substantial to land.
  • Lets the team publish menu and news changes without a developer.

The site is live, and the work itself is the most honest thing we can show you. frateria.ro
